Master’s Thesis Award
Each year NAGS recognizes an outstanding master’s thesis that has been produced by a student at one of its member institutions. Nominees must have received the master’s degree within three years preceding the year of competition.
The $1000 award is presented at the annual meeting by University Microfilms, Inc.. The recipient is invited to attend the meeting as a guest of the Association.
All member institutions in good standing are invited to submit nominations. There can be only one nominee from each institution.
Announcements and deadlines for the annual competition are sent out to each Fall to all member institutions.
Dissertation Award
Each year NAGS recognizes an outstanding dissertation that has been produced by a Ph.D. candidate at one of its member institutions. Nominees must have received the doctoral degree within five years preceding the year of competition.
The $1000 award is presented at the annual meeting. The recipient is invited to attend the meeting as a guest of the Association.
All member institutions in good standing are invited to submit nominations. There can be only one nominee from each institution.
Announcements and deadlines for the annual competition are sent out each Fall to all member institutions.
