Conference Overview

The Executive Committee has planned a compelling meeting program for graduate deans, assistant/associate deans, and other academic and administrative professionals. In addition to our yearly awards ceremony and popular hot topics and flash talks sessions, this year’s plenary sessions include:

  • Graduate Study in the Age of Commoditized Intelligence
  • Tracking, Connecting, and Bridging: Doctoral Career Pathways
  • Building Public Trust in Graduate Education through Experiential Learning
  • More Than Students: Navigating Learning, Labor and Life in Graduate School
  • Keynote presentation from the President of the Council of Graduate Schools

We have included ample opportunities throughout the meeting to network with colleagues and enjoy Montreal in the spring. A final agenda will be available in late Feb.

Present a Flash Talk at NAGS 2026?

A flash talk is a very short, high‑impact presentation—5 minutes or less—designed to communicate quickly, clearly, and in a way that sparks interest and follow-up engagement. We are interested in hearing what campuses are doing that improve the graduate student experience.

Interested in presenting a flash talk at the 2026 conference? Please contact Kristen C. Eichhorn, Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, State University of New York, Oswego at kristen.eichhorn@oswego.edu. Send title, presenters name, email,  affiliation, short description and single slide to Kristen Eichhorn for consideration.
